I’m Done!

I am alive, and as of yesterday, July 24, I am also done my thru-hike! It took me nearly five months, but I finished with much of the same group I hiked with at the beginning. Gold Bond, Drop, Cliffhanger, Antsy, and I summited Mount Katahdin on Tuesday around noon.

I have many blog posts to write with photos and videos from the end of New Hampshire and all of Maine. I also have some thank-you’s to express for trail magic from friends and family. I will continue updating my blog and let you know how my trip ended over the next week or so.

Thanks for everyone who followed my adventure and supported me!

  5. Hi + 3. Great news! Congratulations! I finished my 500 mile section at Franconia Notch at the end of June and am going back in Sept. to complete my AT hike. It was great meeting you (and Peter) on the trail. Best of luck.

  6. Dear Luke,
Thanks so much for including us in your epic adventure. We all have enjoyed your travels and dream of a way of life that is a little less hectic.
    Tom.
P.S. I hit a home run last night on the Mall. Well, it really was a triple with an over throw error to third but I will accept it as a home run. We played with 9 but managed to score 22 runs in a loss.

  7. Luke, congratulations! We have thoroughly enjoyed reading each of your descriptive blog entries and looking at all of the accompanying photos and videos. As the “AT” (“Ann/Tom”) in Colorado, we’ll look forward to seeing you soon. Also, make sure to document the shaving of that impressive beard, if and when it is removed!

  8. Luke,
Congrats on finishing the journey. Thank you for including us. From the blogs, the pictures, the day hike at Harper’s Ferry, it has been fun celebrating your accomplishment! Again congrats! Next year West Coast!! Until then, I will see you on the ice this fall!
